Switzerland has long successfully exported and marketed its banks and insurers, its watches and medical technology, its social mediation and the Red Cross. Within a century, Switzerland evolved from one of the poorest countries in Europe to one of the most affluent in the world.
At our School of Business we educate and support, encourage and interact, advise and challenge the potential and current managers, economists and marketers to continue in this prosperous Swiss tradition. Equally, we practise and instill an integral sense of professional ethics and social responsibility.
Internationalisation is our daily business - we import it, we export it and we live it!

Travels of a Yellow Suitcase
To celebrate 10th anniversary of internationalisation (10 Years Global Know-How) several yellow suitcases have been unveiled and begun their travels around the world. A giant version of the suitcase in the corporate colours is serving as a mobile exhibition of mementos and gifts from our partners all over the world. The handy smaller versions were officially handed over by School of Business Director Prof Dr Ruedi Nützi to the three student seminars to accompany them on their preparatory trips to India, China and the USA. These three highly successful international projects, lead by students, held their preparatory seminars in Olten from 8 to 12 February. The on-site 2-week seminars will take place in April.
The websites of the 3 projects are: www.nwny.ch www.focusindia.ch www.insightchina.ch
The official 10th anniversary celebrations will be held on 7 May 2010.
