Switzerland has a long and successful tradition within an international context, be it its watch industry, its banking system or, above all, its humanitarian role as mediator.
The educational philosophy of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland is committed to furthering and developing this international and human culture in the fields of research and development as well as in academic teaching and learning. It belongs to a national and international network of partner universities. Its eight Schools maintain bilateral contracts with a host of leading universities in the European Union and around the world, facilitating student and faculty exchange and fostering joint research projects.
